gbA ARCHITECTURE & PLANNING AND McLEOD KREDELL ARCHITECTS TO FORM ALLIANCE

Montpelier, VT and Middlebury, VT (May 15, 2019) – We are pleased to announce the formation of an alliance between our two award-winning firms. This move recognizes our longtime respect for one another’s practices, and our shared commitment to creating the best possible architectural design. The collaboration will involve jointly pursuing and executing projects when appropriate. The two firms will support one another as needed with our collective experience, skills, research, and staffing resources. Steve Kredell will join gbA partners Gregg Gossens, Tom Bachman, and Diantha Korzun in the Montpelier firm. John McLeod will continue to run the Middlebury firm he founded in 2008. The alliance of the two practices will bring together gbA’s expertise in library, school, housing, and downtown redevelopment design with Kredell’s and McLeod’s experience with college and university facilities and residential design. Both firms have a longstanding commitment to community work, affordable housing, sustainable design, and teaching, and all five partners have served on the board of AIA-Vermont. We look forward to our alliance best serving our clients, the community, and the built and natural environments.
